Safety & Ethics

Mandatory Vetting: All members are required to undergo comprehensive, recurring annual criminal background checks.
Zero-Tolerance Policy: No individual with a history of moral turpitude, violent crime, or any offense involving a minor shall be permitted to teach, volunteer, or become a member of our association.
Authorized Lineage: Only schools chartered by the International Tum Pai Association™ are recognized as legitimate practitioners of GGM Jon Loren’s system. Unauthorized entities do not meet our rigorous vetting or curriculum standards.

Transparent Training: All schools and individuals will maintain an "Open Door" policy. Parents are always welcome to observe classes. Private, unsupervised one-on-one training between an adult and a minor is strictly prohibited.
Professional Boundaries: Instructors shall maintain professional boundaries at all times. Physical contact is limited to technical correction and safety-related demonstrations and must always be age-appropriate.
Grooming Prevention: We train our members to recognize and prevent grooming behaviors. Any report of inappropriate conduct is taken with immediate seriousness and reported to the proper legal authorities.

Honor and Lineage: We teach the history of Tum Pai with honesty. We do not tolerate the misrepresentation of rank, lineage, or affiliation.
Conflict Resolution: Students are taught that martial arts is a tool for self-defense and personal growth, never for intimidation or bullying.
Respect for All: We treat every student with dignity regardless of background, fostering an environment of mutual respect and discipline.
